Michal Olšiak is an artist, painter and sculptor whose sculptures are scattered all over the Czech Republic, Germany and Italy. This popular sculptor can sculpt fantastic sculptures out of concrete, and our three-metre high statue of a buzzard was created in the autumn of 2013. He’s been keeping a watchful eye on our hotel ever since. And why did we choose a buzzard? Just look at the sky and you will see that this bird of prey is simply a symbol of our region.
So take a close look at this buzzard and be careful during your trip if it is circling over your head.
